Loved it, great location. We sat outside, it was a beautiful day, sunny but nice breeze. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was really good. Never had fried artichoke, very yummy def worth trying. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed their meals. The Chardonnay we ordered went very well with the meal.

This is a very nice restaurant by seaport. Nice atmosphere to have dinner. Everything from the appetizers menu is good. I like the artichoke the best. Main dishes is good too. Pasta are better than white or red meat for this restaurant. I like the pasta to be cook longer. Meat can be more juicy. Overall a very nice restaurant for a date night.

Having just moved from Italy, it was great to find authentic and tasty food here. The owners and staff were warm and welcoming, and the location is charming in a lovely neighborhood. Highly recommend! Loved the crab pasta, the pesto and shrimp pasta, the cacio e pepe and the fried fish!

Loved this authentic Italian restaurant near South Street Seaport: great food, wine and ambiance! It’s a nice area to walk around and the weather was mild enough to sit outside. It was perfect for people watching while we sipped on a glass of wine. Service was excellent and we were seated promptly as we had made reservations ahead of time. I had the Cacio E Pepe served in a crispy cheese bowl and roasted brussel sprouts which were both delicious. My daughter had a lobster pasta, not on the menu, but a recent special that they accommodated and she loved. We capped the dinner with a light and beautifully presented Italian dessert. All in all, we enjoyed our time at Osteria Del Porto and would visit again. It was a great find in the Financial District!

Had dinner at Osteria del Porto and overall had a lovely experience. The ambiance was lovely—warm, dimly lit, and peaceful upstairs, while the downstairs has a bar area that we’ll check out next time. Food-wise, the Tortellini Toscani was a bit under-seasoned and slightly doughy for my taste, but the Ravioli di Zucca was much better. The Mango Salad was refreshing, and the Arancini al Limone made for a fresh, light start. For dessert, we tried the Creme Brulee and Tiramisu, both of which were light and delicious. Looking forward to coming back and trying more!

It was so good! Quite Italian atmosphere. Small cozy place. Dinner was served pretty quickly. We tried special pasta with crab meat. It was delicious. Beet salad is a must try! Sweet beets with somehow fried cheese-it’s a yum combination! Burrata with prosciutto was good, especially nice touch with baked bell peppers. Desserts are must try. It was my first Ricotta cheesecake. Very unusual taste. Tiramisu was extremely moisture and not sweet at all. So, highly recommend for tasty food lovers!

My wife has seen several travel videos from other 'foodies' rave about the restaurant. So we paid a visit recently during our trip to visit the Fulton Market area. We arrived without a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. However, we arrived on Saturday before 5:30pm. However, by 6:30pm the upstairs was full. Reservations are recommended since it very popular. Quiet simply, each dish was perfectly balanced and tasty. We all agreed the meal was excellent and brought us the flavors of Italy we experienced when in Rome. The Rigatoni Alla Norma was delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce with pieces of eggplant were married well and overall was extremely delicious. The Cavatelli Alla Salsiccia had ample of hearty Cavatelli pasta and sausage. The Paccheri All Agnello was a unique pasta dish with tender lamb cooked with a wine based sauce. We ordered a Mediterranean Salad to start of the meal. It arrived with tasty fita, Greek olives and nutty olive oil. Writing about it makes me hungry. I highly recommend this gem. Bon Appetit!

Every dish came quickly and nicely plated. The staff worked well together as a team and the food was delicious. I tried three of the Four entree at my table and had three appetizers. The Brussels Sprouts Gratin were my favorite with the Arancini Al Limone (fried cheese rice balls) being a close runner-up. I'm not a big mushroom lover which is why I didn't say the Bruschetta Funghi as a favorite, but the bread itself was delicious. For my entree I ate the Gnocchi Al Porcini
